Multi-storey car park at the Lowry.

So I am home again from another shift at The Lowry. May be the last one for the week (got 2 more, but only if someone calls in sick). Today I sorted the car insurance for the year. Still over £1000 for both Kian and I on my little Saxo. Also been and done a food shop (hence posting this at past 2am!).

^Today’s photo feels rather reminiscent of Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks of which I am rather keen on (I’ve done a few pieces of my work based on it before, including an acrylic/pastel piece that normal resides at the top of our main stairs).

Now to bed.

Today I got my Reddit Secret Santa presents sent off (don’t worry, it’s a rematcher gift I already sent my mail present long before Christmas!). I also had a shift at the Lowry. I delivered my latest commission too. Tomorrow I shall probably spend knitting, playing with Cinder and possibly even getting my studio tidied.

Nights come in early – Lowry lit it up.

I wasn’t too well last night when we got home from club.

Tomorrow is the final night of Arabian Nights (one of the Christmas shows at the Lowry). I did my final shift on it this evening. I’m going to miss it. Next week we get back to short run productions and one-off shows.

Another day, another Lowry shift. I do love the new additions to the area, Media City, the bridges across the canal, the various sculptures, each make it a lovely place to be.

Day 4 in the Big Brother – Christmas at the Lowry

Since September I have been volunteering at The Lowry. Its such a wonderful place to be and the people are always so cheerful that I’m really starting to feel creative (photographically) again.

With the night’s drawing in (note these photos were taken between 4:50pm and 4:55pm) I thought I’d look to the evening lighting at The Lowry and around Media City UK.

Just a few for now – was in a rush to get to a birthday party and had no tripod!
